These are only a few of the many wines produced by Divino. Many special editions and limited release wines are only available at the winery or in our own store network.
Pinot Noir 2006
The noble Pinot Noir has been a fixture for Busnardo Vineyards with the 2006 vintage producing a wonderful wine. Smooth flavours, pleasing nose and a thick colour are the traits of this wine. A great wine to enjoy with meats and heavier sauces.
Gamay Cabernet 2006
These varietals are favourites of the local racoons as it reaches maturity late in September. Getting the harvest off before they steal it all is a real challenge. A lighter red wine with a smooth finish is the result of this unique blend of the Gamay and Cabernet France grapes. In honour of our pesky friends we included them in our nature series of labels.
Chardonnay 2006
In tribute to another of the true residents of the vineyard, our squirrel label shows the appetite they have for Chardonnay. They have good taste, as the Island is a great location for this varietal and the coastal-climate style of Chardonnay is evident in the 2006 vintage. A golden hue, perfect balance of acid and a clean, crisp finish have the Chardonnay lined up as a white wine for many occassions.
Merlot Cabernet 2006
The deer that sometime roam the vineyard, feast on young shoots in the spring, leaves in the summer and then finally grapes in the fall. Their great stature earned them a more serious style label in our animal resident series. This also applies to the Merlot Cabernet itself, strong in stature, full-bodied, and able to stand up to a variety of foods.
Pinot Grigio 2006
There could not be a better animal to be shown on the Pinot Grigio label than the wonderful salmon that inhabit the waters only miles from the vineyard. The crispness of the wine, full-bodied and dry go so well with all fish, but a meal of fresh salmon and Divino Pinot Grigio give the full flavour and appreciation for true local flavours.
Piccolo Bianco, 500ml
The 'little white' is a slightly smaller bottle of a wonderful white blend. A perfect accompaniment to a summer picnic, an evening snack, or any meal where a well-balanced white blend would fit. A very slightly off-dry finish completes the enjoyment of this blend of the best of the Busnardo Vineyard.
